Jona Byron ist ein Musiker, den ich privat kennen lernen durfte und dem ich vollkommen vertraue. Sein tiefes und emotionales Wesen beeindruckt mich immer wieder. Die Authentizität seiner Person und seine sensible Wahrnehmung der Menschen um ihn herum, spiegelt er in seiner Musik wieder.

Musik zu schreiben, die schön klingt ist eine Sache, aber sie die direkt in deinem Herzen zu spüren und das Echte einer Musik zu spüren, eine andere.
Das schafft nur ein Musiker, der sein Leben für die Musik aufgibt und das Leben stärker wahrnimmt als es einem Menschen gut tut.

I was definitely waiting for the album launch before listening to Extinct Hearts - as I do religiously (so to speak) for every happily anticipated new release but I heard it in the car and there was no escape and I wept twice, such was the immediate presence of a unique beauty unsurpassed by any other Melbourne artist I know.
